The BMC (FB647/20) High Performance Air Filter is a great option for car owners looking to improve the performance and sound of their vehicles. It is not compatible with motorbikes. Many customers have reported that the filter fits perfectly on various BMW models, including the F10 M5 and F8x M3/M4. Some users even mention that the filter enhances the car's sound, giving it a slightly throatier tone. The overall reception of this product has been positive, with customers praising its performance and fit. One user mentioned that the filter was not too oily, which is a common issue with other brands. However, there are a few negative reviews as well. One customer mentioned that the filter is not compatible with their 2014 F12 and F13 models. Another user experienced issues with their MAF sensors getting soaked in oil, resulting in a rough idle and check engine light. It is important to note that some users recommend letting the filter soak out much of the oil with a paper towel and allowing it to dry out for several days before using it. They advise against using it right out of the box to avoid potential issues. Overall, the BMC (FB647/20) High Performance Air Filter seems to be a reliable option for car owners looking to improve their vehicle's performance and sound. However, it is essential to double-check the compatibility with your specific car model and take precautions to avoid any potential issues with the oil saturation of the filter.
