- Solid construction with shielding and solid feeling switching, smooth detents and quiet, no extraneous noise when switching
- Body is enclosed and screwed shut, to avoid things from effecting contact points, with ground tags on both sides

However, it is a 3-way device, not a 5-way. Some of the pinouts can seem odd, but it's a fantastic addition for the price and quality.
