Contemporary Project Management

The Contemporary Project Management 3rd Edition textbook offers a comprehensive overview of project management. However, there are a few drawbacks that customers have mentioned in their reviews. Some customers have reported that the illustrations in the book are of poor quality, making them difficult to read. Additionally, the writing style is described as dry, which can make the topic less engaging for readers. Another issue that has been raised is the lack of complete sample problems for all concepts, making it challenging to check one's work. Furthermore, customers have noted that there are questions and problems at the end of each chapter that reference datasets not included in the book. It is mentioned that these datasets can be accessed on a paid website, which some customers found inconvenient. Lastly, some customers were disappointed by the lack of clear connection between the information in the book and the PMP exam. Overall, while the textbook provides a decent overview of project management, it may not be the best choice for those specifically looking to study for the PMP exam. However, it is worth noting that some customers appreciate the lower price compared to other options available at bookstores.
