Absolute Power

"Absolute Power" marks a notable entry in the Justice League series, particularly for fans of Nightwing. Readers appreciate the opportunity to see Nightwing, traditionally in Batman's shadow, step into a leadership role among the superheroes. This change is likely a highlight for devoted Nightwing fans, as it showcases character development and the series’ willingness to diversify its narratives. While the artwork in the book received mixed reviews — being described as merely "okay" — the quality of storytelling seems to shine through. Many readers praised DC's continued excellence in crafting engaging tales, suggesting that the narrative arcs and character interactions are compelling enough to provide an enjoyable experience despite any visual shortcomings. However, some reviewers expressed confusion and felt that they lacked sufficient background knowledge before diving into the story, indicating that "Absolute Power" may not be the best entry point for newcomers to the series. Additionally, minor quality issues, such as crumpling on the spine, were noted, though they did not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the book. In summary, "Absolute Power" is a strong offering for existing Nightwing fans and those who appreciate intricate storytelling from DC, despite its occasional artwork limitations and some potential confusion for those less familiar with the characters.
