The Brown Sugar Keeper is a container with a terra cotta disk inside the lid that can be soaked in water and keeps brown sugar moist. The product is FDA approved and BPA free, and it is freezer safe. However, it does not have a built-in leveler. The silicone seal may fall off the lid, but the manufacturer may replace it. It can be used to store granulated sugar, but it only holds 1 lb or less.
