Where are the Koshi Chimes made?

Original Koshi Chimes are made in France.

How are the Koshi Chimes tuned?

Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the resonance tube and precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in overtones.

How should I move the Koshi Chime to produce the sound?

Move the chime gently holding it by its cord to produce a crystalline relaxing sound that may leave you in quiet wonder.

How much do each weight?

one Koshi chime weight 0.36 lbs = 6 oz

Do these chimes come in a stand? If no, where I can purchase a stand that holds all 4 of them?

These are super light and I do not place them on a stand. Instead I apply 3M hooks that mount above my mantle where they rest. It looks nice and they hang functionally.

Can the exterior be painted?

The Koshi chime surface is bamboo that was treated with natural oil. While it might be possible to paint over it, the paint might not stick evenly and also affect the sound quality. If you experiment it would be at your own risk.

What is the length of it - just the bamboo portion and also the entire length including the string?

The length of the total chime top to bottom is 14.25 inches , The Bamboo body 6.25, the length of the string on the top 4.5 inches and the length of the bottom string 3.5 inch

Koshi Chimes k-setof4-amz Editorial Review

The Koshi Chimes are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a soothing and calming sound. These chimes are lightweight, easy to use, and come in four distinct tones that harmonize beautifully together. They are made of bamboo treated with natural oil and are 14.25 inches from top to bottom, with the bamboo body being 6.25 inches in length. The top string is 4.5 inches, and the bottom string is 3.5 inches long. Customers have reported falling in love with the sound of these chimes, using all four as a musical instrument, and even mount them above their mantle, where they rest beautifully. Some reviewers have mentioned they wouldn't use deep temple bell sounds due to annoyance, but found these chimes to be perfect for their needs.
