The book provides clear definitions and examples of test techniques and is supported with practical tests to try out new found knowledge. It covers important testing techniques including pairwise testing and state-transition testing which can be combined with tools for code coverage and static analysis leading to a systematic way of testing. Although some reviewers found the last third of the book a bit tedious and focusing too much on the business paradigm, most Consider it an important and valuable resource to have around. A major downside, however, is the high price compared to similar books in the market.
