Adult & Continuing Education Editorial Review
**** The third edition of *Learning in Adulthood: A Comprehensive Guide* has received a warm reception from many readers, particularly those in graduate studies related to adult education and human resources. Reviewers commend its thorough coverage of key theories in adult learning, including Behavioral, Cognitive, and Humanist perspectives, and appreciate the structured format that enhances comprehension. Many readers find the chapter outlines and summaries particularly helpful for assimilating information, making it an invaluable resource for both coursework and future reference. However, the book has not been without criticism. Some reviewers express concern over perceived political biases interwoven within the content, asserting that the authors' liberal viewpoints intrude upon the academic objectivity expected in an educational textbook. This editorializing has sparked debate among readers; while some feel the biases detract from the integrity of the work, others believe that these elements can be overlooked in favor of the book’s rich and well-researched theoretical content. Overall, *Learning in Adulthood* is recognized as a significant text in its field, providing essential insights for those seeking to delve into adult learning theories. Despite its contentious elements, it remains a popular choice among students and practitioners for its breadth of information and readability. **
