Fox Shox Fox Racing 98024943 Shock Absorber

The Fox Shox Fox Racing 98024943 Shock Absorber has garnered a mix of responses from customers, showcasing both praise for its performance and some reservations about durability. Many users appreciate the ease of installation and the significant improvement in ride quality compared to their previous options, with one customer highlighting it as a "huge upgrade" over their Rancho 5000s. The ride is described as smooth, which is a key selling point for individuals looking to enhance their driving experience, particularly in off-road situations. However, not all feedback is positive. While some users report satisfactory performance for a substantial period, a few have expressed disappointment with the longevity of the shocks, claiming they failed after approximately 1000 miles, deeming it a "complete waste of money." Additionally, the lack of protective boots or shields is a common complaint amongst users, with some customers noting that while the shocks function adequately without them, it does raise concerns about the potential for damage over time. Overall, the Fox Shox Fox Racing 98024943 Shock Absorber appears to be a solid choice for those seeking a performance upgrade with an easy installation process. However, potential buyers should weigh the concerns regarding long-term durability before making a purchase. **
