OM SYSTEM Camera Batteries V328140BU000 Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of OM SYSTEM Olympus HLD-7 Camera Grip** The OM SYSTEM Olympus HLD-7 Camera Grip is lauded as an essential accessory for Olympus E-M1 users, enhancing shooting capabilities with its thoughtfully engineered features. Many users appreciate the grip’s ability to double battery life, which is particularly beneficial during longer shoots or vacations. Its lightweight design combines utility and portability, respecting the compact nature of micro four-thirds systems, allowing photographers to maintain their camera's manageable weight. A standout feature cited by several reviews is the grip's weather-sealed Construction, a rarity in grips, which extends its usability in various conditions. Users have noted that the extra battery compartment, customizable function buttons, and alternate command dials significantly improve the overall shooting experience, particularly in portrait orientation. While the pricing of the HLD-7 may initially seem high, many users found it to be competitive when compared to grips for other camera brands, especially given its advanced features. Users have expressed satisfaction with how securely it attaches to the camera, thanks to an improved alignment mechanism compared to previous grips, which makes it quicker to set up. However, some areas for improvement have been noted. A few users commented on the positioning of the function buttons, mentioning they could be slightly lower than optimal for quick access. Moreover, the grip's tightening mechanism has received mixed feedback; while functional, some would prefer a more robust locking method. Ultimately, the Olympus HLD-7 grip stands out as a solid choice for photographers seeking comfort and enhanced functionality. Its combination of weather resistance, extended battery life, and ergonomic support makes it a worthwhile investment for serious Olympus E-M1 users. **
