It features a Vibram outsole, excellent cushioning, support and wicks water as you walk. The boots are true to size and fit like a normal S2V boot. They are not waterproof and come with a steel toe. One customer reported bruising on the top of their feet due to the insufficient padding between the metal eyelet and the foot. Another customer reported that the boots were not suitable for field use due to the lack of ankle support. However, a retired Army colonel who works on his property doing Construction and gardening loved them and reported that they offered the ankle support of an Army combat boot while feeling like sneakers. One customer reported that the boots ripped after less than a month of use.
