Inferno is the third and final movie in the Professor Robert Langdon series, based on Dan Brown's book. Tom Hanks plays Robert Langdon and is once again sent on a treasure hunt across Europe to decipher old art and riddles in order to save the day. The movie has a good plot that keeps you guessing, and Hanks seems perfect for the role. However, the focus of the movie is different from the previous two movies in the franchise. Rather than religious Conspiracy, this movie has a plague plot, much more similar to a Mission Impossible movie. Robert's expertise doesn't feel as necessary or important to the plot, and the movie lacks the same spark and fit into the same pattern that some viewers may have enjoyed in the previous movies.
