Wald Kids' Bikes & Riding Accessories Editorial Review
The Wald 742 Training Wheels have received generally positive reviews from customers. Many have praised its heavy-duty Construction, noting that it is one of the toughest training wheels on the market. Customers appreciate that the wheels are made in the USA and fit bikes with 16" wheels perfectly. They also commend the quick shipping and fair pricing of the product. Some users have mentioned that the small wheel diameter may cause installation issues, particularly with gears, but this problem can be overcome. The plastic wheels are described as sturdy and wide-spaced, making them suitable for kids' bikes. However, it is recommended to have the training wheels professionally installed on bikes sized 20-26" due to potential interference with the brake system. While the Wald 742 Training Wheels are not foldable, customers have noted that they still allow the bike to fit in a car with minimal added space. Some users have mentioned difficulties with the anchoring part not fitting well and suggest that a slightly larger fitting diameter would be beneficial for a more secure attachment to the bike's fork. Overall, the Wald 742 Training Wheels are Considered a great option for those looking for durable training wheels at a reasonable price, with the caveat that some adjustments may be needed during installation. **
