The Mastermind board game is a classic that has been around for decades. The game includes a plastic board, 96 colored pegs, and 30 key pegs. The goal of the game is to guess the correct order and color of the four secret pegs that have been hidden by the opponent. The opponent then provides clues to help the other player determine the correct order of the pegs. The game is designed to be challenging and fun, and it is great for enhancing critical thinking skills. Based on customer reviews and feedback, this version of the game is the 1981 version and comes with a big tray for the code pegs and a smaller tray for the key pegs. Though the pegs do not click into the slots, the game is well-constructed and great for nostalgic moments for adults and can challenge kids’ critical thinking skills.
