Fastronix Solutions Pushbutton Switches Editorial Review
The Fastronix Heavy Duty Push Button Momentary Start Switch with Neoprene Cap is a versatile switch that can be used for various purposes. It has a 60A current rating and is designed to be a momentary switch. Customers have found multiple uses for this switch, including as a kill switch for a small mercury outboard and as a replacement for a gas pedal in a kids' car run by a 6V battery. However, it should be noted that the durability of the switch may be compromised if used continuously for long durations. It is recommended to use this switch to power a high current relay instead. The switch comes with a removable safety bezel, which some customers choose to discard. It is also capable of handling body weight pressure, although it is primarily designed to be pushed with a finger or thumb. The switch can be used in vehicles such as a 1989 Ford F150 or a 1992 Chevy pickup, as long as the key is in the on position before pushing the start button. One customer mentioned that the switch did not meet their expectations in terms of heaviness and durability. However, the majority of reviewers were satisfied with the product, praising its performance and build quality. Overall, the Fastronix Heavy Duty Push Button Momentary Start Switch with Neoprene Cap is a reliable switch that can be used for various applications. It is easy to install, sturdy, and offers a 60A current rating.
