The Sharp Quartz Analog Alarm Clock is a sleek, compact, and lightweight device that works perfectly without being plugged in. It is battery operated and offers a retro feel with its analog face that ensures easy time reading with its large numbers. The clock is ideal for someone who prefers a ticking sound while sleeping; it is not completely silent. The clock's alarm function is equally impressive, starting with a quiet beep and progressively becoming louder before it switches off after four minutes of snooze time. However, while the clock has many significant advantages, there are some shortcomings. For one, the knobs at the back that make the clock tick can be challenging to use. The knob to set the alarm is particularly problematic as it is located inwards and is difficult to turn. Additionally, one has to preset the alarm well in advance as turning it on will noise immediately, making it challenging to set it for a specific time if you are taking a power nap or short rest.
