ACTIVISION Nintendo 3DS & 2DS 69205 Editorial Review
The game has generated mixed reactions among its players, with many highlighting its appeal as a first-person shooter set in a naval environment. However, it has not lived up to the expectations that some had, particularly regarding its advertised theme of naval warfare. Customers have noted that while the graphics are decent and the gameplay is entertaining at times, it primarily revolves around typical shooter mechanics rather than the naval combat they anticipated. Younger players may find it challenging, as it requires some reading and comprehension of mission details, which can make it less suitable for children who are just learning to read. Parents noted that they often needed to assist their younger children in understanding the game, leading to a recommendation for players aged 10 and older instead. Players appreciate the variety of challenges and the combination of being a shooter while managing naval units. However, there are sentiment issues regarding the limited integration of air support and the strength of alien weaponry compared to human weapons. The frequent comparisons to the movie also indicate a sense of disappointment, as many players feel the game falls short of capturing the film's essence. Overall, the game delivers a blend of familiar FPS action with some unique naval strategy elements, but may not satisfy those seeking an immersive naval combat experience or younger children's needs. **
