Grand Prix BD [Blu-ray] is an outstanding product for car racing lovers. The track footage is simply outstanding, mostly filmed using 65-millimeter cameras, an essential aspect seeing how they actually captured everything in-camera. The authentic footage shows the actual Grand Prix races across Europe, with a number of real drivers featured in scenes with speaking parts. Besides the gorgeous colors and detail, Grand Prix BD also features many extras like excellent commentary on what racing was like in the 60s, and interviews with drivers, etc. The film's celluloid format sets it apart from contemporary race movies. However, the European zone version was not clear, so customers should check before purchasing.
