Belltech 9122 Shock Set

The Belltech 9122 Shock Set has garnered a mixed reception from customers who have installed them on their vehicles, particularly 1995 and 1988-1998 Chevy C1500 models. Many users report a significant improvement in ride quality and handling, noting that the shocks perform well after installation. The general sentiment is that these shocks can revive an older truck’s ride and make driving feel new again, which is a highly valued feature among customers looking to enhance their vehicle's performance. However, the installation process has drawn some criticism. Several users encountered difficulties, such as issues with fitting the front shocks through the lower control arm, requiring them to remove the outer can for proper installation. There are also concerns regarding the shock strength; some customers felt that the shocks were not robust enough to adequately support the weight of their trucks, resulting in excessive bouncing after hitting small road imperfections. Customer support appears to be a significant pain point. Many users expressed frustration with the vendor's customer service, mentioning that contact numbers were ineffective and that they received incorrect products without any response from support channels. This has left some customers feeling dissatisfied with their overall purchasing experience. In summary, while the Belltech 9122 Shock Set can enhance ride quality effectively for specific truck models, potential buyers should be aware of possible installation challenges and the lack of responsive customer service. ###
