**** The hitch receiver for the 2005 Kia Sportage has garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from users. On the positive side, many customers found the installation process to be straightforward and quick, often completing it in around 15 minutes with the help of another person. The product's fit and performance have also received accolades, with users expressing satisfaction in its functionality, particularly for towing utility trailers. The affordability of the hitch receiver adds to its appeal, making it a viable option for those looking for budget-friendly towing solutions. However, there are significant concerns that potential buyers should be aware of. A notable flaw highlighted by one user involved the misalignment of holes for the retention pin, which rendered the hitch unusable for some. Despite attempts with different equipment, they were unable to secure the hitch, leading to frustration, especially with an impending trip. This highlights the importance of quality control in manufacturing, as a single defect can significantly impact customer satisfaction. In summary, while the installation ease and performance of this hitch receiver are strong selling points, potential buyers should proceed with caution due to reported quality issues. **
