Creating Google Chrome Extensions

The first edition of "Creating Google Chrome Extensions" has received mixed reviews from customers. The positive aspects of the book are its wide scope, which allows readers to create new Chrome extensions, and the usefulness of the accompanying code. However, the negative feedback highlights several issues such as the poor narrative style, with special "notes" interrupting the flow of the content, repetitive presentation of ideas, and disorganized discussion of the accompanying code. Additionally, the book lacks an orderly presentation of concepts and relationships and its summaries at the end of each chapter. Customers also express frustration with the poor quality of the index and the assumption of a high level of pre-existing knowledge. The attempts at brevity to convey knowledge also seem to fall short, with some readers finding discrepancies and inConsistencies within the content. Moreover, there are complaints about errors in the code examples, making it challenging for readers even with some coding experience to follow along.
