Electronic Arts Games 19454 Editorial Review
The Sims Medieval - PC/Mac reimagines the beloved franchise with a twist by setting the gameplay in a medieval era, offering a unique experience distinct from its predecessors. Although some reviewers appreciated the seamless world without loading screens, they expressed dissatisfaction with the limitation on free play and the repetitive quest structure. Many found the game's graphics appealing but noted a certain flatness, especially when the camera zoomed out to capture the large kingdom. Additionally, there were complaints regarding character customization and the lack of makeup options, reflecting the historical context. Overall, while the game has potential with its depth and creativity, concerns about long-term engagement remain prevalent among fans.
