I don't recommend this model as they don't cut smoothly and squeak with every cut. The lock gets in my way too.

Will these be okay for Cardstock paper?

They are razor sharp for cloth cutting, though Cardstock could make the shears dull.

Can these scissors be resharpened?

Since to me they are a regular pair of scissors with a spring........I see no reason why they couldn't be sharpened.

Would the spring action still work properly and would the shears/spring hold up to cutting leather?

Before you try to cut leather, please talk to a person at Gingher & ask the question first. Gingher has great scissors. I Love them, that's all I use & they last a long time when you take care of them. Good Luck

How much do these scissors weigh? Could 0.32oz be a mistake?

The scissors weigh 0.32 ounces NOT 32 ounces or 2 pounds.

I am interested in German made Gingher 8-inch scissors.

I believe they're all made in Germany. Third pair I've had & all the packages have said Germany.
