Volcom Industrial & Construction Boots VM30703 Editorial Review
The Volcom Men's Street Shield boots have garnered a mixed bag of feedback from customers who have put them to the test in various everyday situations. Many users appreciate the comfort these boots provide, especially for those who spend long hours on their feet. Reviewers frequently highlight the ample toe space and lightweight design, making them a good option for prolonged use. The convenience of the zipper for easy on-and-off is also well-regarded, especially for individuals who frequently need to remove their footwear after extended stints on their feet. However, the boots do have notable downsides, particularly regarding their slip-resistant claims. Several customers expressed concern about the boots' performance on wet surfaces, stating that they feel unsafe due to slipping issues. This has been a notable deterrent for some users, particularly those in work environments where safety is paramount. Additionally, sizing appears to be a common issue, with many stating that the boots run large and do not fit snugly around the ankle, which can further impact their overall stability and comfort. The durable build quality and warmth provided by the boots while dealing with cold conditions, such as shoveling snow, have also been appreciated. Nonetheless, it is crucial for potential buyers to be aware that these boots do not feature safety toe protection, which may limit their use in Construction or industrial settings. In summary, while the Volcom Men's Street Shield boots are appreciated for their comfort and quality, Prospective customers should weigh the potential safety concerns related to slip resistance and sizing against their intended use. **
