Lutron Wall Controls Lutron - FS-5FH-DK Editorial Review
The Lutron FS-5FH-DK Electronics Rotary On/Off Fan-Speed Control has garnered a mixed reception from customers. Those who have successfully implemented the switch into their homes often express satisfaction, praising its ease of installation and functional design. Users appreciate the ability to control the speed of their fans more precisely, making it easier to enjoy their living spaces without overwhelming noise. The switch matches decor well, particularly for ivory wall plates, which has been noted as an aesthetic bonus. However, not all experiences have been positive. A notable number of users reported unexpected issues, particularly concerning noise levels. Several customers expressed disappointment with the audible humming produced by their fans when using this control. This noise was especially pronounced in cases where they had previously enjoyed silent operation with older high/medium/low switches. Additionally, some users were taken aback by the functionality, mistaking the continuously variable control for a three-speed switch, leading to misunderstandings about how to effectively utilize the product. In summary, while the Lutron FS-5FH-DK offers flexibility and ease of installation, potential buyers should be aware of the noise levels and the different operation method compared to traditional fan switches. The experiences reflect a split between those who have found it to enhance their comfort and those who have encountered frustrating drawbacks. **
