What are BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings?

BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings are high-performance skateboard bushings designed to provide optimal responsiveness and stability. Made from a durable urethane material, these bushings help skaters achieve better turning capabilities and control on their boards. Whether you’re a street skater or a transition rider, using these bushings can enhance your skateboarding experience by allowing for smoother turning and better energy absorption during tricks.

How do I know which hardness of BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings to choose?

BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings come in different hardness ratings, usually marked as 'soft', 'medium', or 'hard'. Your choice should be influenced by your weight, skating style, and personal preference. Softer bushings provide more flexibility and are great for cruising or street skating, while harder bushings offer more stability and are preferable for technical tricks and downhill skating. Assess your skating needs to select the optimal hardness.

Can BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings be used with any skateboard?

Yes, BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings are compatible with most skateboard setups that use standard skate truck dimensions. However, it’s important to ensure that your trucks can accommodate the bushings’ size and hardness. By replacing old bushings with these, you can significantly improve your board’s performance, especially if you're looking for better responsiveness and control, regardless of your skating style.

How often should I replace my BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings?

The lifespan of your BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings largely depends on your skating frequency and terrain. If you skate frequently or engage in heavy tricks, you may need to replace them every few months. Signs that your bushings need replacement include excessive wear, noticeable squashing, or reduced responsiveness. Regularly checking your setup ensures optimal performance and enhances your skating experience.

What is the installation process for BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings?

Installing BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings is a straightforward process. First, remove your skateboard wheels and the trucks from the board. Next, take out the old bushings by gently pulling them out of the truck. Insert the new bushings into the baseplate and the hanger. Finally, reattach the trucks and wheels to your board. Ensuring the proper installation allows the bushings to function correctly, providing improved performance and control.

Do BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings affect board feel?

Absolutely! The type of bushings you use can greatly influence the feel and responsiveness of your skateboard. Softer bushings absorb more shocks and allow for smoother turns, which is ideal for flowy skating. In contrast, harder bushings offer a more direct feel and stability, particularly beneficial during high-speed skating or when doing technical tricks. Experimenting with different bushings can help you find the perfect balance for your skating style.

Are BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings suitable for beginners?

Yes, BonesTM Wheels Hardcore Bushings are suitable for skaters of all levels, including beginners. Opting for softer bushings is often recommended for newcomers, as they provide greater flex and easier maneuverability. This can help new skaters gain confidence as they learn to turn and ride. Over time, you can experiment with different hardness levels to find what feels best as you progress.
