The files have a V-shaped groove that makes them easy to use and accurate, allowing for optimal string fitting. Customer Experience: - The files are durable and don’t flex easily - The precision of the files is high - The tool can be challenging to use for flat nut tops such as in a Start guitar - The U or V shape of the file can cause the groove's bottom to spread if the tool slightly deviates from the string line - Not suitable for Classical guitars - The tool is prone to waviness in the direction of the teeth, causing the groove to become too wide when not handled properly - May take some practice to use the tool effectively - The HOSCO Luthiers Tools TL-NF3C Nut Groove File is an excellent tool for bass guitar nut adjustment
