Wild Foods Cinnamon Editorial Review
The Wild Ceylon Cinnamon Powder has garnered mixed reviews from customers who have shifted from traditional supermarket options to this premium cinnamon sourced from Sri Lanka. Many users rave about its delightful fragrance, which they describe as reminiscent of decadent cinnamon rolls. The overall impression is that this cinnamon powder is significantly fresher and more aromatic compared to the commonly available Cassia variety, making it ideally suited for a variety of culinary applications, such as in baking, smoothies, and coffee. One of the standout aspects is its smooth, fine texture, which makes it easy to use in recipes. Customers have noted the health benefits of Ceylon cinnamon, acknowledging that it contains substantially lower levels of coumarin compared to Cassia, which is a significant factor for health-Conscious Consumers. Appreciation for the product's organic certification and its ethical sourcing also enhances its appeal. However, the flavor profile has elicited mixed reactions. While some users enjoy the milder, nuanced taste of Ceylon cinnamon, comparing it favorably to the robust flavors of Cassia, others feel it lacks the punch and intensity they prefer in their cinnamon. Some even described it as dusty or mellow, suggesting that it may not satisfy those craving a more traditional, spicier flavor. Overall, customers recommend the Wild Ceylon Cinnamon Powder for those looking to explore the subtleties of true cinnamon and who prioritize health benefits over intense flavor. **
