The Polycom VVX 250 phone does not come with instructions and should be connected to a network and not directly to a computer. Customers can wall mount this phone by unscrewing its desk stand and installing it backwards. The phone is compatible with a wide variety of providers and can be used with an OBI WiFi adapter. The process for warm transferring a call will depend on the service provider. The phone does not work over WiFi without an adapter. The unit does not include a power supply, and customers have to purchase it separately. Several customers had issues with the Polycom VVX 250 phone, with some experiencing screen issues, confusion with shortcuts, and clunkiness with the transfer function. Some handsets were delivered unusable, incompatible with Google Voice for Gsuite, and provisioned to another company making it difficult to activate. Several customers were unhappy with the lack of a power cord and instruction manual, making it difficult to set up the device.
