While it may not teach multiplication and division in the way that we traditionally think of it, it encourages kids to work with factors and see advanced math concepts like 6 being 2*3 and how it relates to 12. The game is produced in either China or Battle Creek, Michigan, depending on the print run. It doesn't have an odor, isn't only for math-lovers, and we can order posters on Math for Love's website! The game comes with solo variations in the rules, and 2-4 players can play the game, with the possibility of forming teams for 6-8 players. The color code is helpful, and the prime factor visualization is magical and makes it interesting for conversations along the way.
