CamelBak Thrive Flip Straw

The CamelBak Thrive Flip Straw Accessory Cap has garnered a mixed reception from customers, who appreciate its compatibility with various CamelBak water bottles but also express frustration regarding design inConsistencies and durability. Many users enjoy the upgrade, especially those transitioning from older models. The ability to screw the cap onto older CamelBak bottles smoothly while using a familiar silicone mouthpiece is seen as a significant advantage. However, several reviews highlight concerns about the straw's length and compatibility, with some finding it necessary to cut the straw for a proper fit. Compatibility issues seem to hinder the experience for some users, causing speculation about potential marketing strategies behind these design choices. The transition from the previously favored bite valve to a perma-open mouthpiece has not been well-received—customers who appreciated the leak-proof feature of the bite valve feel let down by the change. Additionally, durability issues arose quickly, with reports of the silicone tearing after only a short period of use. Overall, while some users appreciate the cap's functionality and compatibility, significant concerns regarding design flaws and material quality seem to overshadow the positives. **
