The Radio cut out of this kit is a standard Double DIN size. 173mm wide x 96.8mm tall. This kit will work with True Double DIN Radios with screen faces 6.2 - 6.8 inches. Some Radios that are labeled as Double DIN are actually oversize. You may have to do some minor trimming inside the kit in order to make a larger Radio fit. Is this a dash kit for a factory 8” to a aftermarket 7” double din, as a kenwood, pioneer etc?

Its a new radio bezel kit so to install a double din radio in a Ram equipped with a factory 8.4 radio.

Yes, this fits 6.2 - 6.75 standard double DIN stereos. Not all aftermarket stereos offer the same size screens and some are considered oversized.

How does the climate control work if the 8.4 screen controls alot of it?

This kit is designed for use with a Maestro compatible radio and Maestro RR interface that replaces the factory Climate Control.
