Behringer NEKKST K10S Audiophile 10" Studio Subwoofer with High Excursion Woofer

The BEHRINGER Black K10S subwoofer offers impeccable sound quality and does a great job at filling space, especially Considering its affordable price. While it is ported, it still manages to deliver crisp and accurate tones similar to what you would expect from a sealed sub. Though not as tight as some other subs, the fuzziness on the lines is minimal. One standout feature of the K10S is its XLR passthrough, which works flawlessly. This is particularly useful for speakers that only have XLR or line inputs and lack a separate subwoofer channel. With the passthrough, the cables can go from the device to the sub and then to the speaker, requiring no additional software or configuration. On the downside, some users have reported experiencing a grounding issue with the connection when using the subwoofer with their monitors. This results in a Consistent 15k buzz that is audible even over music, as well as static and distortion in the monitor audio. This issue has led to disappointment and frustration for these customers. In summary, the BEHRINGER Black K10S subwoofer offers great sound quality at an affordable price point. Its XLR passthrough is a standout feature, making it a versatile choice for speakers that lack a dedicated subwoofer channel. However, the reported grounding issue and the resulting audio problems have been a significant drawback for some customers.
