Plumb Pak 1688K Pop-Up Drain, Polished Chrome, 1-1/4 In.

**** The product in question has garnered a mixed yet generally favorable reception from customers, particularly lauding its robust Construction and overall quality. Many users noted that the all-metal build of the drain assembly provides a significant upgrade over cheaper plastic options, which are prone to breaking. The heavy-duty brass nut that tightens the drain was described as a highlight, showcasing a thoughtful design aimed at longevity. However, not all feedback was positive. A common critique among users was the quality of certain components, particularly the pop-up lever, which is made of chrome-plated steel. Several customers expressed concerns that this material is prone to rust and deterioration over time, suggesting that a stainless steel alternative would have been a more durable choice. Additionally, users noted some compatibility issues with other plumbing fixtures, mainly due to the lack of standardization in the industry, making replacements challenging. Installation of the product generally received positive remarks, with users finding the process straightforward. A few suggested that the provided components—such as the puttyless washer and the chrome extension—were inadequate for optimal performance and required additional purchases to ensure a proper fit. In summary, while the product boasts high-quality materials and ease of installation, potential buyers should be aware of the longevity concerns regarding some components and the need for additional items to achieve the best results. **
