To enable synchronization checking, simply connect the SYNCH CHECK ENABLE signal input or depress the front panel SYNCH pushbutton. The DKG-117 is programmed to verify various conditions during four consecutive busbar cycles, including busbar voltage, genset phase voltage, busbar-genset frequency difference, busbar-genset voltage difference, and busbar-genset phase angle. If all these conditions are met for four consecutive cycles, the CHECK SYNCH relay will be instantly energized. For added flexibility, the DKG-117 offers digitally adjustable threshold levels and timers.
