Logitech G Flight Controls 945-000065 Editorial Review

The Logitech X52 HOTAS (Hands On Throttle and Stick) setup has garnered a variety of reactions from users, particularly those engaged in space simulation games like Elite Dangerous. Many customers regard it as a solid entry-level option for beginners, highlighting its decent build quality, ergonomic design, and button placement that feels intuitive during gameplay. First-time users have found the X52 easy to set up, effectively working "out of the box" with good presets in many games. The functional buttons, smooth throttle operation, and overall responsiveness have been praised, particularly for their compatibility with Windows 11. Despite its largely plastic Construction, the rubberized grips and well-designed contours have made it appealing to many users, who feel it is an excellent choice for those stepping into the realm of HOTAS systems without breaking the bank. However, some reviews indicate that certain issues arise from time to time. A common complaint pertains to the software setup, with some users finding it tricky to load predefined profiles and manage LED brightness. Additionally, the size of the X52 has posed challenges for those with limited desk space, and while its build feels solid, there have been reports of quality control issues in a few instances, leading to frustration with malfunctioning components. Overall, the Logitech X52 HOTAS is recommended for casual gamers and enthusiasts trying to enhance their simulation experience, valued for its solid performance, rather than for those seeking the absolute best in quality or sophisticated setup options. **
