Adjustable White Window Security Bar for Sliding Windows and Doors Fitting 16.5" - 28.5" Openings - Heavy Duty, Easy Installation, Child Proof -

The Window Security Bar is advertised as a simple and effective way to enhance the security of your windows. However, customer experiences and reviews reveal a mixed reception for this product. While some customers found the Window Security Bar to be an easy and efficient solution for their security needs, others were disappointed with its functionality. One customer mentioned that the bar did not stay in place and did not work at all, opting to use a wooden stick instead. Another customer found it difficult to determine the strength and force the bar could hold, as this information was not provided on the packaging or instructions. In terms of usability, some customers had questions about the bar's versatility. One customer asked if the bar could be used on the top portion of a horizontal window, to which another customer replied that it could be made fairly snug but might be difficult to remove without twisting. Another customer questioned whether the bar could be used to hold a vertical window open, but noted that this would defeat the purpose of unwanted entry. It was also noted that if the bar was used vertically and the window was lifted, the bar would likely fall out. However, if used in a horizontally opening window and placed along the bottom track, the bar would stay in place. Overall, the Window Security Bar received mixed reviews. Some customers found it to be a great and adjustable solution for added security, while others felt it was not worth the price and compared it to a small shower curtain rod. It should be noted that some customers found it to be the perfect piece of mind, especially for first-time apartment dwellers, appreciating its ease of setup and the rubber ends that protect windows and doors.
