- Zaha Hadid fue una arquitecta revolucionaria. Durante muchos años no construyó casi nada pese a sus diseños premiados y al entusiasmo de la crítica. Algunos decían incluso que sus proyectos eran inedificables. Sin embargo, durante los últimos años de su vida sus atrevidas visiones se hicieron realidad, llevando a las ciudades un lenguaje arquitectónico y único, y estructuras como las oficinas portuarias de Amberes, la estación de trenes de alta velocidad de Nápoles-Afragola, en Nápoles, y la nueva y espectacular terminal del aeropuerto de Pekín.Hadid murió en 2016 de forma repentina.
