Perfect Paperback Comics & Graphic Novels Editorial Review
** Vanilla Essence (COMIC)** "Vanilla Essence" marks a significant return to the realm of hentai manga in Spain, a genre that has been notably absent from the market for over a decade. This product has been well-received by fans and critics alike, reflecting an appreciation for its boldness in reviving adult comic storytelling, a venture many publishers shy away from due to the stigmas associated with erotic content. Readers have praised the quality of the artwork, particularly noting Yamatogawa's impressive illustrations that capture both sensual themes and engaging narratives. The collection features a variety of entertaining stories, some of which are better received than others, but overall, the absence of censorship allows for a frank exploration of adult themes, which is a definite plus for the genre's enthusiasts. Despite some minor criticisms regarding printing issues—specifically a misprint affecting one page—the overall sentiment toward the book is positive, with many suggesting that this could pave the way for future publications of hentai titles in Spain. Readers have expressed their excitement for what they hope will be a resurgence in the market, inspired by the successes of other European countries, particularly France and Italy. The editorial commitment to the genre and its potential for more releases from notable authors has sparked optimism among fans that this is just the beginning. In summary, "Vanilla Essence" stands out as a commendable addition for those seeking quality hentai comics, and it solidifies the publisher's role in revitalizing a once-popular genre that has long been overlooked. **
