GEORGE STEINER

Paperback Genre Fiction Editorial Review
Las invitadas secretas Bolsillo Ficción is a Spanish novel published by RBA Bolsillo on May 19, 2022. This 304-page book, weighing 270 g and measuring 12.5 x 1.93 x 19 cm, offers a historical narrative intertwined with a police plot. While some readers found the initial premise intriguing, many noted declines in the story's pace and repetitive scenes causing disappointment. The final resolution was seen as lacking, making this novel feel somewhat underwhelming compared to other works by the author Benjamin Black, also known as John Banville. Critics have had mixed feelings, with some appreciating its historical context but others deeming it a less engaging read.
