Mass Market Paperback Contemporary Fiction Editorial Review
Castillos de cartón: 1 MAXI is an engaging short novel published by Maxi-Tusquets that offers a glimpse into the vibrant heart of 80s Madrid. The story, showcasing a unique love triangle involving art students, elegantly intertwines themes of love, misunderstanding, and personal growth. Readers often find the characters relatable, and the narrative captivating despite its brevity. Many praise the author's skillful writing, which makes emotional complexities resonate with audiences, though some note the pacing, particularly towards the end, feels rushed. Overall, the book delivers a compelling exploration of human relationships that many readers recommend.
