Mass Market Paperback Books in foreign languages Editorial Review
David Golder is widely regarded as a masterpiece by the Russian-born author, captivating readers with its engaging narrative and rich dialogues reminiscent of Balzac's "Papa Goriot." This novel, published by CreateSpace, delves into complex themes, making it a rewarding experience for all, as noted by readers who found the writing excellent and filled with unexpected twists. However, some critiques point out the lack of a critical apparatus, which could aid those studying the text. Overall, the compelling storytelling and character depth make it a strong choice for literature enthusiasts.
