BRITA Filter Taps Editorial Review

The BRITA Filter System On Tap is designed to provide clean water by removing chlorine, bacteria, and some chemicals but not hard water minerals like magnesium or calcium. The device comes with multiple fittings, installation is easy and requires no tools. This filter system can be used anywhere in the world and can also be used as a shower mode. However, the product seems to have durability issues, the filter cartridge that boasts 600liters can only provide 100-150 litres before it starts to fail, and the digital reading may stop working after 150 liters. The product also received negative reviews for mold build-up, unhinging from the tap, difficulty with installation, lack of filtration for limescale and varying compatibility with taps.
