8Bitdo Arcade Stick for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 & Windows - Nintendo Switch )

The 8Bitdo Arcade Stick for Nintendo Switch & Windows has received mixed reviews from customers. While some users are satisfied with its performance and compatibility, others have expressed disappointment regarding its limited functionality and compatibility with different devices. According to customer FAQs, the joystick can be connected to a Raspberry Pi by plugging in the supplied 2ghz adapter and switching to 2ghz on the stick. However, it does not support multiple joysticks being connected to a single Raspberry Pi without interference. Additionally, the stick does not currently have firmware updates available to work with the PS4 or PS5. Customers have also inquired about its compatibility with other devices such as the WiiU and Super Console X Max. Unfortunately, the arcade stick does not work with the WiiU, and while it does have a direct input mode that could potentially work with PC-like devices, it is not specified if it is compatible with the Super Console X Max. In terms of its use with the SNES mini, customers have confirmed that it can be used if the SNES mini is hacked. However, it is not compatible with the Astro City Mini at this time, although there may be a firmware update in the future to change this. In terms of functionality on the Nintendo Switch, one customer asked about macro recording for games like Samurai Spirits and the SS Neo Geo Collection. The response was that only the two black buttons on the top right of the joystick can be programmed, while the remaining buttons can be remapped, but this requires a computer. In conclusion, the 8Bitdo Arcade Stick for Nintendo Switch & Windows offers a satisfactory experience for users looking for arcade-style gameplay on the Nintendo Switch and PC. However, it has limited compatibility with other devices and lacks certain features such as firmware updates for wider device support and extensive macro programming options.
