Codelocks 1000 SG KL1000 Locker Lock, Silver Grey

The Codelocks 1000 SG KL1000 Locker Lock in Silver Grey offers a blend of simplicity and functionality, making it a popular choice among customers seeking a straightforward solution for securing items in locker-style storage. Many users appreciate the lock's easy installation and programming, noting that it integrates elegantly with their locking systems. However, the feedback also reveals some concerns about the product's long-term reliability. While the lock performs well initially, a significant number of reviewers report issues with the keypad's durability over time. The design of the keypad, which relies on a membrane and carbon dots to function, has been criticized for its susceptibility to failure. Some customers have experienced their locks malfunctioning within just a few months, while none reported lasting longer than 18 months. Additionally, the inConsistency in code recognition has left some users frustrated, noting that often the code must be entered multiple times for it to work correctly. Overall, while the Codelocks 1000 SG KL1000 offers appealing aesthetics and ease of use, its reliability and value for money are under scrutiny, making it a potentially costly investment in the longer term. **
