KORG Portable & Arranger Keyboards MICROKEY25 Editorial Review
The KORG MICROKEY2-49 USB MIDI Controller is a compact and portable keyboard that is ideal for musicians looking for a convenient way to create music on the go. The Bluetooth feature works well with iPads, offering wireless connectivity for a seamless experience. However, some users have experienced difficulties setting up the Bluetooth connection with Windows 11, leading to frustration and time-Consuming troubleshooting. While the keys are smaller in size and the overall build of the keyboard is described as "plasticky," it still provides a functional solution for capturing musical ideas quickly and easily. The key sensitivity can be adjusted using the Korg Kontrol Editor software, which is available for Mac/iOS and Windows devices. Overall, the KORG MICROKEY2-49 USB MIDI Controller is a practical option for musicians who need a portable keyboard for on-the-go music production. It may not be suitable as a main studio keyboard due to its size and key action, but it serves its purpose well for creating music ideas efficiently. **
