Blu-ray Editorial Review
Studiocanal King Kong UHD [Blu-ray] [Region A & B & C] presents a classic 1976 remake of the original 1933 film, featuring a keenly executed 4K transfer that noticeably enhances the visual experience, bringing the rich details of the movie to life. Many viewers have praised the vivid color palette and sharpness in the presentation, although some noted the yellow and teal color grading may not appeal to everyone. This edition includes a lengthened version exclusive to Blu-ray, along with the original theatrical soundtrack and a variety of extras, catering well to casual fans. Despite mixed views on the film's script and special effects, the overall reception highlights it as a noteworthy addition to any classic film collection.
