Studio Wildcard 1026745 Editorial Review
ARK: Survival Evolved on PS4 immerses you in a world of open-world survival gameplay with dinosaurs. It's a great game idea with a lot of potential, but the execution is somewhat disappointing. There are no instructions on how to play, so the player is left to work it out themselves and the first few hours involve monotonous tasks. The game has improved over time with updates, but there are still complaints of issues affecting game saving. On the brighter side, the game has good graphics, there are many maps to explore, and the new expansion packs offer more gameplay features. The multiplayer feature requires PS Plus, but the single player campaign is available without it.
