SKIL Planers Editorial Review
The SKIL 6.5 AMP Electric 3-1/4 Inch Corded Planer has garnered a generally positive reception among users. Many customers praised its performance, indicating that it operates as expected and is a solid tool that delivers a good quality for its price. The ease of use, setup, and adjustment makes it particularly appealing for beginners venturing into woodworking projects. Despite showcasing plenty of power and efficiency, several users reported that the planer tends to produce a significant amount of sawdust and that the dust collection bag fills up quickly, requiring frequent checks. This has led some customers to recommend connecting the tool to a vacuum system for better dust management. Additionally, the planer has been noted to be somewhat difficult to keep level when dealing with wider boards, presenting a slight challenge for some users. Another common point of feedback is the lack of a spare blade included with the product, which some customers believe would have improved the overall value. However, overall feedback highlights that these minor inconveniences do not overshadow the tool’s solid performance and reliability. **
