Gear Keeper Micro Retractor/Super Zinger for Fly FIshing – Options - Swiveling Snap Clip, Threaded Stud or Carabiner Clip Mount with Q/C Split Ring Accessory - Made in USA
The Gear Keeper Micro Retractor/Super Zinger for Fly Fishing has garnered a mixed reception among users, with several highlighting its utility while others raise concerns about its performance. Many customers appreciate the product's ability to keep essential fishing tools secure and prevent them from being misplaced, emphasizing its convenience for anglers who frequently use cutters, hemostats, and pliers. The compact size and durable Construction of the Gear Keeper make it a favored choice for those looking to optimize space in their small fishing packs. Additionally, the strong spring mechanism has been noted for its reliability, surviving multiple dunkings and rinses without loss of function, which further confirms its solid design. However, some feedback points to a few shortcomings. A user expressed dissatisfaction, claiming the retractor did not function as expected, citing insufficient spring tension to hold tools securely aloft. Despite this, most users recommend it as a staple accessory for fishing due to its effective features and various mounting options, though it may not accommodate larger tools like scoop nets. Overall, the Gear Keeper Micro Retractor/Super Zinger is viewed as an essential tool for serious anglers who prioritize keeping their fishing gear organized and easily accessible. **
